Texas Facilities Commission: Building for the New Decade

As the importance of public sector work rises for A/E/C firms, many firms find themselves without connections to the agencies that manage these projects. The Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) oversees projects for most of the Texas agencies, including Department of Public Safety, Department of State Health Services, Department of the Blind and Visually Impaired. Come meet TFC's project management team at our February Luncheon.

As we begin a new decade, we welcome John Raff and Thursten Simenson, the two Program Directors for TFC. Each leads one of the project management teams for TFC. They will give an intro to TFC, discuss how TFC functions, and talk about specific potential upcoming projects. They will also share information regarding the potential “state facilities campus” that has been covered in the media recently.
