February Luncheon: Austin's New Planning and Development Center

Join SMPS Austin on Tuesday, February 12th for what is sure to be an enlightening presentation from City of Austin’s newly appointed Assistant City Manager, Rodney Gonzalez, and Redleaf Properties’ Rob Shands, as they discuss all things regarding the City of Austin Planning and Development Office and the Highland Mall redevelopment.

Rodney will give an update on improvements made to the permitting process since the controversial Zucker Report and improvements still to come. Rodney and Rob both will give a look into the Public/Private procurement method chosen for the new Planning and Development Office and a peak at its design and amenities. Redleaf will also provide a brief history of its Highland development and what is still to come for it and the surrounding area. You won’t want to miss this update on the single most important development project for the local A/E/C industry.

Sponsorships are available. Contact Glenn Hart (glenn.hart[at]cardno[dot]com) for more information.
